78 registered. 47 walked in.
Turnout counts who actually showed up: import registrations, approve a reminder plan, check in at the door, and see the real rate instead of the RSVP guess.
No card, no sending without your approval. First import takes about five minutes.

Reminder experiment on the same rows: NO DETECTABLE DIFFERENCE
Control 63.6% (n=33) vs treatment 57.8% (n=45). We publish the arm result even when it does not flatter us, and the tool reports insufficient evidence until the sample can carry a conclusion.
Put your own number in
Two sliders, one subtraction. The empty room is already on your invoice.
Venue share, catering, printed materials, a coach's hour. Anything you pay per head.
The empty-room line uses the same rate as the panel above (60.3% on Demo Saturday 5K (last week), 78 registrations, synthetic demo dataset). We never substitute an industry average for a number we can measure.
That is 40% of the room, every time, before anyone touches turnout.
If your event hit 72%
47 more people in the room, $2,115 recovered per event.
That is your goal, not our claim. The pilot is what puts a number on the delta.
How an event runs
Import or collect RSVPs
CSV import with duplicate detection, or a public RSVP page for free events. Consent and source are stored per participant.
Approve a reminder plan
Rule-based risk bands decide who gets one, two, or three touches. Nothing is sent until an organizer reviews and approves it.
Check in at the door
QR or manual check-in, idempotent and audited, so a double scan cannot inflate the room.
Measure what happened
Attendance rate, no-show rate, capacity fill, repeat attendance, and a control-vs-treatment comparison.
What the numbers mean
- Attendance rate is check-ins over registrations that were still active at the door. Cancellations leave the denominator.
- Capacity fill is check-ins over seats you paid for. This is the one that shows the empty room.
- Repeat attendance is who came back to a second event, which is the only growth signal that survives one good night.
- The arm comparison is control versus treatment inside the same event, with a Wilson interval rather than a bare average.
What this build does not do
- No payments, no subscriptions, no Stripe Connect.
- No real email or SMS delivery — reminders are queued for review only.
- No claim of a proven attendance lift. The experiment framework reports INSUFFICIENT EVIDENCE until the sample supports a conclusion.
- No integrations with Eventbrite, Meetup, or Luma APIs.

Start with one recurring event
Import last month's list, approve the plan, check in once. If the numbers do not tell you something you did not already suspect, stop there.
